PRIVACY
Privacy notice.
This notice explains what WebsiteBuildHouse does with personal information when you visit this website, make an enquiry, receive a business-to-business introduction or become a customer.
Last updated: 31 July 2026
1. Who is responsible for your information?
Lewis Benavente, trading as WebsiteBuildHouse, is the controller of the personal information described in this notice. WebsiteBuildHouse is a UK website design business.
For privacy questions or to exercise your data-protection rights, email websitebuildhouse@gmail.com or message Lewis on WhatsApp at +44 7710 049050. Please state that your message is a privacy request.
2. Information that may be collected
- Your name, email address, telephone number and the information you enter into the website enquiry form.
- Your profile information and message content when you contact WebsiteBuildHouse through WhatsApp, email or Instagram.
- Public business information from sources such as Companies House, a business website, a business directory or an organisation's public social-media profile, including the organisation's name, legal form, website, general contact details and visible website needs.
- Information about your business, website, budget, required services and project preferences that you choose to provide.
- Customer, billing, payment and project records needed to provide an agreed service and keep appropriate business records.
- Basic technical and security information processed by the website hosting provider, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, dates and error or security logs.
Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary and has been discussed first.
3. How and why the information is used
- To respond to enquiries and take steps requested before entering into a contract.
- To make a limited, relevant business-to-business introduction to an organisation that may reasonably benefit from WebsiteBuildHouse services.
- To prepare quotes, agree a project and provide contracted website or care services.
- To administer payments, accounts, support, maintenance and customer communications.
- To keep the website and business systems secure, prevent misuse and resolve technical problems.
- To meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations.
The lawful bases relied upon are taking steps before or performing a contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business and developing relevant business relationships, and compliance with legal obligations. Consent will be used where the law specifically requires it.
For unsolicited electronic business introductions, WebsiteBuildHouse limits outreach to corporate subscribers such as limited companies unless valid consent or another PECR permission applies. Messages identify WebsiteBuildHouse, explain why the organisation was selected and provide a simple way to opt out. Objections and opt-outs are recorded on a suppression list so the organisation is not contacted again.
4. Who information may be shared with
Information is only shared where necessary with service providers that support the business, such as website hosting, form processing, email, communications, payment, accounting or professional-advice providers. Website enquiry submissions are processed and stored through Netlify Forms when that service is enabled. Information may also be shared where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
If you choose WhatsApp or Instagram, your use of that service is also governed by Meta and the relevant service's own privacy information. WebsiteBuildHouse does not control how those third parties operate their services.
5. International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this occurs, WebsiteBuildHouse will rely on the provider's appropriate contractual or legal safeguards and will only use services considered suitable for the information involved.
6. How long information is kept
Information is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, to provide and support the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax or accounting requirements. Unsuccessful enquiry information is reviewed and removed when it is no longer reasonably needed. Potential-business contact records are reviewed within 12 months if no relationship develops. Minimal suppression records may be kept for longer where necessary to respect an objection or opt-out. Customer and transaction records may need to be kept for the applicable statutory period.
7. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or transfer to another organisation. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent.
There is normally no charge for making a request. WebsiteBuildHouse may need to confirm your identity before responding. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
8. Cookies, analytics and website storage
The live website was audited on 30 July 2026. It does not currently set first-party or third-party cookies, use localStorage or sessionStorage, load analytics or advertising pixels, or embed third-party media. Interactive choices on the Features and Contact pages remain in the page while it is open and are not saved by WebsiteBuildHouse in browser storage. For that reason, no cookie consent banner is currently shown.
The hosting platform may process essential technical logs for delivery, reliability and security. If non-essential analytics, embedded services or other tracking is added later, the website will be reassessed, this notice will be updated and any legally required consent controls will be introduced before that technology is used.
9. External links
This website links to services and websites operated by other organisations, including WhatsApp, Instagram and RS14 Training. Their privacy practices are outside WebsiteBuildHouse's control, so you should read their information when using those services.
10. Changes to this notice
This notice will be reviewed when the website, services or information-handling practices change. The date at the top will show when it was last updated.
